Adobe applications

Adobe has released lots of editing tools in the past two years. It includes some of the best photo editors for Android.  Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop Express, and Adobe Photoshop Mix are available. Each has a variety of features to help you get it right. You can do simple things like eliminating red eyes when editing RAW files taken by your smartphone or DSLR camera. Adobe Lightroom is notably updated quite frequently. You need to use Adobe Cloud for all of the features. Those who already use Adobe CC should get them as they are included with a CC subscription anyway.

Aviary photo editor for Android

It is another popular photo editor with a good set of features, and reliability is Aviary. Like most, it has a one-touch enhancement mode.  There is a variety of manual adjustments to let you do things like adjusting the color. , brightness, temperature, contrast, saturation, etc. It comes with stickers, filters, and cosmetic tools such as red-eye correction, stain remover, and teeth whitening. This app hasn’t seen an update for a while at the time of this writing, so if you run into a bug, it might remain for a long time.

Pixaloop

Pixaloop is a photo editor with some pretty cool stuff. It transforms static photos into GIF style images with a few taps and swipes. The effect works best with things like clouds or water, but there are also many other examples of use. Some additional features include adding elements that didn’t exist before and overlays that can add to the mood of a photo. It will not destroy red eyes and will not crop your picture. However, the possibility of adding additional effects is rather interesting. The only real downside is that Enlight is super expensive with a subscription of $ 3.99 per month or a single price of $ 59.99. However, we appreciate that we can purchase the entire application if we wish.

Fotor - Photo Editor for Android

Price: Free with in-app purchases

Fotor is a long-standing member of this list, and many blogs and records list Fotor as a must-have option. We agree. It has many more real editing tools than most of the others. Some of the other features include cropping, rotation, brightness, contrast, saturation, exposure, vignetting, shadow, reflections, temperature, hue, RGB, and, if these don’t work, no, you have the choice between more than 100 filters. It’s worth it. The app requires you to log in to use it, and it is one of the most expensive photo editing apps.

InShot Photo Editor for Android

InShot Photo Editor Pro is a pretty decent editor. It’s a new style editor with tons of things like filters, stickers, and the like. The app hosts all of these effects in a store style layout, and you can choose which ones you want to download. Sure, some of them are only available on the pro subscription, so be prepared for that. In any case, it does modify specific photos. You can do things like touch up photos, cut stuff out of the picture, and cover other basics like cropping and the like. We believe that the subscription of $ 7.99 per year is relatively reasonable as long as you use the application consistently. Also, the developer has a bunch of other photo and video editing apps in the Play Store.

LightX Photo Editor

LightX is one of the newest photo editing apps. It was a resounding success on iOS. There are also some decent features. It has a background change tool, color splash effects, and a range of cursor tools like color balance, levels, and curve. You can even merge photos. There are blur features, shape manipulations, photo collages, and stickers. It is still in beta, but should eventually be among the top five photo editors.

Photo editors for Android

PhotoDirector

PhotoDirector is a newcomer in the photo editing space on Android, and it is quite good. Like Fotor, this one focuses much on manual enhancements rather than filters.  There are sliders for tone, exposure, brightness, darkness,  and contrast for further editing. It is more powerful than most and should be suitable for those who want something other than filters.

Photo Effects Pro

Photo Effects Pro is an editor for those who like to play with filters, effects, stickers, and things like that. It offers more than 40 filters and effects as well as the possibility of adding stickers, text, frames. You can fingerpaint. It is an unusual feature of Photo Effects Pro. It is the ability to finger paint on your photo to make it unique. The app offers a small selection of photo editing tools, but you certainly get this one for effects. It is ideal for those on a budget because it is free to download.

Photo lab image editor for Android

Photo Lab is not one of the most popular photo editing apps. However, the application succeeds quite well. It offers over 640 filters, frames, and effects you can play with, making it one of the largest collections available to consumers. You can try the free version for tests before purchasing.

Photo Mate

Photo Mate R3 is the successor to Photo Mate R2, which was one of the best photo editors on the list. It is still relatively new, so expect it to evolve and improve over time. For now, you’ll have access to a relatively powerful suite of tools, including the basics. It has support for RAW files, which is excellent for photographers. The app comes with a collection of lenses so you can resolve lens issues, including vignetting, distortion, and chromatic aberration. It’s about as Pro as on Android. The downside is that other photo editors benefit from similar functionality.

Pics Art

PicsArt has worked for a  long time. It has accumulated over 250 million downloads to date. Fortunately, the developers have done a decent job of updating the app to keep it modern. You’ll find many of the usual items, including lightweight editing tools as well as filters, text, stickers, and collages. He has over 100 editing tools and a community of creative people to share stuff. You can use this software to generate animated gifs and even draw elements in your photos. It is a powerful option with lots of features. There are also many other PicsArt photo tools.

Pixlr

Autodesk Pixlr, also known as Pixlr Express, is a powerful photo editor that our readers have repeatedly recommended to us. It has one of the best one-touch enhancement tools we’ve seen, and it also includes a ton of other features and tools you can use. There are also filters, though it cleverly disguises them as “overlays” and also contains cosmetic editing tools such as stain removers and teeth whiteners. It is one of the best photo editing apps with a little something for everyone.
